9 NIGHTS / 10 DAYS PACKAGE

(10 days/9 nights, Athens+3 days cruise+4 days classical tour of Mainland Greece)

Day 1: Arrival in Athens International Airport. Meet by our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure. We suggest you visit the Old Part of town, Plaka and eat at the Traditional "tavernas". Overnight
Day 2: After breakfast, meet by our representative and transfer to Piraeus port to embark on the vessel for your 3-Day Island Cruise. Afternoon arrival in the Island of Mykonos, with its rustic windmills, churches, whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches and the cosmopolitan nightlife, which have made this Cycladic Island, the island of choice for the rich and famous of the world.
Day 3: Early morning arrival into Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanesse Islands, known as the Island of Roses. Take an optional excursion to the city of Rhodes and Lindos or visit the Old City on your own. Visit the medieval Castle built by the crusading Knights of St. John, walk through the Street of Knights and be transferred to the Medieval Ages.
Day 4: Morning arrival into Kusadasi. You may visit the ancient city of Ephesus, the most complete ancient city excavated or look for bargains at the local bazaar's leather shops. Afternoon arrival into the Island of Patmos, well known from the Monastery of St. John. Here is where the book of revelation was written.
Day 5: Early morning arrival into Piraeus port. Meet by our representative and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.
Day 6: After breakfast, begin your Classical tour of Greece. Visit the archaeological site of Mycenae and then on to Nafplion. In the afternoon drive to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus with the remarkable acoustics. Return to Nafplion, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: After breakfast, drive through Central Peloponnese passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Arrive in Olympia. In the afternoon, visit the archaeological site and the Museum of Ancient Olympia, where the ancient Olympic games where held. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: After breakfast, drive via Patras to Rion, where you cross by car-ferry to Antirion and driving through Nafpaktos, arrive in Delphi. Visit the archaeological site and see the Oracle, which the ancient Greeks consulted to learn of their future, the Temple of Apollo, the Castalia Spring. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
Day 9: After breakfast, visit the Museum of Delphi in which, among other archaeological treasures you may admire the unique bronze Charioteer. Depart for your way back to Athens. Overnight.
Day 10: After breakfast, meet by our representative and transfer to the airport for your departure.
